其他摘要:This paper reviews the studies on infants and young children in "The Japanese Journal of Educational Psychology", "The Japanese Journal of Developmental Psychology, "The Japanese Journal of Psychology", and "Japanese Psychological Research" published between July 2012 and June 2013, and those in the proceedings of the 55th annual meeting of the Japanese Association of Educational Psychology. The current interests of these studies are widespread : nonverbal cognition, language, number, sociality, relationship between children's behavior and parenting, issues on parents and nursery school teachers, quality of nurture, and preschool education. I classified these studies into three categories and surveyed them, noting the academic and educational importance of each of these studies. I also discuss the necessity of synthesizing the findings.
