其他摘要:The purpose of this study was to clarify the changes that may occur during the course,in the attitudes of college students toward physical education activities and to find out the factors contributing to them. In the initial (April) and final (July) periods of the first semester in 1972, Kobayashi Physical Education Attitude Inventory was administered to 821 of freshmen and sophomores in Kyushu University. The results were as follows : 1. The freshmen showed more favorable attitudes toward physical education activities than the sophomores in the initial test. 2. The attitudes of students were different depending on each course of the physical activities in the initial test. Therefore, it was felt that the attitudes of students were different depending on the preference of sports events. 3. Both the freshmen and the sophomores showed significant changes in their attitudes toword physical education by taking courses. Especially, the sophomores who scored lower points in the initial test than the freshmen showed more remarkable changes in the attitudes. 4. It was recognized that even with in the same scholastic year and physical activity course, students showed different changes in the attitudes depending on the class to which they belonged and one of the factors of these changes were influenced by the contents of skill instruction.
