其他摘要:Shortage of human resources for nursing-care services is worried because of the ongoing population aging in Japan. Practical use of robot technologies for nursing-care protection (control of nursing-care level) and life support services for people requiring nursing-care is urged, and the Japanese government has promoted R&D activities. However, social implementation of robot technologies for nursing-care services is confronted with several difficulties; not just with safety and costs, it is confronted with the problem that a robot has to be adjusted to each person requiring nursing-care, who have each individual cognitive capacity and physical trait. This article gives an overview of current trends of nursing-care support systems and nursing-care protection services by robots and information technologies, and shows current issues and prospects on robot technologies for nursing-care, by featuring our research activities on a low-cost rehabilitation support system for posture keeping using Kinect and Wii Balance Board, and a clothing assistance robot and darts-throwing training assistance applying reinforcement learning theories.
