摘要：特許係争に対して高い証拠能力をもつ実験ノートを作成することは，先発医薬品メーカーにとって重要な課題である。実験ノートが証拠として認められるためには，網羅性，検索性，保全性，実証性を満たしている必要がある。実験ノートを完全電子化し，書式のテンプレート化，検索機能，データバックアップおよび監査証跡ならびに長期署名サービスを活用することで，これらの要件を実現した。Computerized System Validationを適用することによって，電子実験ノートがFDA 21 CFR Part11に定める要件を満たすこと，および電子実験ノートが前述の要件を満たすシステムであることを担保し，電子実験ノートの知的財産保護への活用を果たしている。
其他摘要：For brand-name drug companies, it is a critical issue that their employees maintain laboratory notebooks which are admissible as evidence in a patent dispute. In order for a laboratory notebook to be admissible in court, it needs to ensure completeness, searchability, integrity and substantiation therein. These requirements were achieved by digitizing laboratory notebooks themselves and using templated formats, search functions, data backup system, audit trail functionality and long-term signature services.To meet the demand, we have made e-Laboratory Notebook available in protecting the intellectual property by fulfilling the requirements defined in FDA 21 CFR Part11 and applicable to e-Laboratory Notebook and by applying Computerized System Validation which guarantees that the system fulfills the above requirements.
