摘要：科学技術振興事業団は，国等の研究情報の公開・提供を進めるため，研究開発支援総合ディレクトリ（Directory Database of Research and Development Activities，以下ReaDという）を開発している。開発構想において，ディレクトリデータベース作成のための情報源を重要と考え，研究者自身による情報発信を考慮している。ReaDはWWWサーバとディレクトリデータベースを連携させたシステムで，研究機関，研究者，研究課題，研究資源の四つの基本ディレクトリ情報を中心にそれらを相互に関連づけて提供することができる。インターネットが利用できる環境にあれば容易にデータベースにアクセスできる。本稿ではReaDの開発構想，システム概要，機能概要，基本ディレクトリ情報内容について紹介する。

In this plan, information sending by researcher is very important for making directory database. ReaD is the linkage system of WWW server and directory database, and can offer the four kinds of directory databases, research institutes, researchers, research themes and research resources what can be cross-referenced. ReaD can be accessed easily by the Internet. In this paper, we explain the outline of plan, system, function, directory databases of ReaD.
