其他摘要：This article describes two examples of image DBs and the image viewer (GuGood-Viewer) that deals efficiently with a bottleneck of image transmission through the Internet. The examples are a picture DB system used in a design company and a drawing DB system used in a design consulting company. Both of them are intranet solutions. The mechanism that GuGood-Viewer is based on is described.
