其他摘要：Infrastructure for advanced multimedia age is now growing on the evolution of network and personal digital assistance (PDA) supported by rapid progress of technologies in the field of LSI, communication and information processing. It is likely that multimedia services will give drastic change to individual life, industries, social system and governmental actions. Through overview of convenience/inconvenience of multimedia services, action plans to accelerate towards multimedia age are described. Although many action plans have been proposed from various organizations, we further need action plans concerning, such as, advanced education system to enhance creativity, development of multimedia database to store/search multimedia information. Also assessment is said to be critical.
