其他摘要：A system called MARS was constructed by use of the existing DBMS for the purposes of compiling and retrieving the comprehensive data base of chemical substances (data base covering general areas). DBMS has been recognized to be effective through the several use studies, and is expected to give useful measures for future preparation of fact data base. The problems or improvements proposed concerning the data in each data base will be also useful in preparing the data bases.
