其他摘要:Eight companies of the Sumitomo group started joint use of JICST's on-line IR service over an exclusive line, and their experiences in the first year is summarized. The merit of JOIS service is analyzed by company and by file searched. The change of information service within the companies due to the shift to JOIS is given by the growth of IR requests in relationto the internal publicity campaigns. About 70-80% of the users rated the service as good. As to the cost some savings were made by the reduction of search time and switching to off-line terminals. The increase of overall use rate and coordination of JOIS with other commercial services such as Lockheed's remain unsolved,, but the JOIS service is becoming one ofthe major pillars of information service in each company, and they are expecting improved services by JOIS-II, and the reinforcement of JICST's field offices in particular.
