摘要：Bu çalışmanın amacı, TÜBİTAK lisansüstü bursiyeri belirlemede kullanılan Akademik Personel ve Lisansüstü Eğitimi Giriş Sınavı puanı [ALES], ve lisans genel akademik başarı not ortalaması [LGNO] değişkenlerinin, bursiyerlerin yüksek lisans genel akademik başarı not ortalamalarını [YLGNO] açıklamada, varyans oranlarının eşit olup olmadığının incelenmesidir. Bu çalışma ilişkisel tarama modelindedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, 2009-2013 yılları TÜBİTAK yurt içi doğrudan doktora burs programı kapsamındaki 818 bursiyer oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma soruları çerçevesinde toplanan verilerin analizinde aşamalı regresyon analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular doğrultusunda bursiyerlerin lisans genel akademik başarı not ortalaması ve ALES puanı, YLGNO’nın manidar yordayıcıları olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. TÜBİTAK bursiyerlerinin LGNO’nın, bursiyer belirleme puanında ALES puanları ile eşit oranda değerlendirilmeye alınmasına rağmen, eşit yordama gücüne sahip olmadığı, bursiyerlerin LGNO’nın, ALES puanlarına göre daha önemli bir yordayıcı olduğu saptanmıştır.
其他摘要：The aim of this study is to investigate whether “TUBITAK scholarship holders” Academic Staff and Graduate Education Entrance Examination [ASGEE] scores” and “Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average [UCGPA]” variables which are used to determine graduate scholarship holders are equivalent from the standpoint of variance proportions in explaining Graduate Cumulative Grade Point Average [GCGPA]”. This study was conducted by using correlational model. Research group consisted of 818 scholarship holders within the scope of TUBITAK national (domestic) direct doctoral scholarship programme between the years 2009-2013. The data collected within the framework of research question were tested by using hierarchical regression analyses. It was found that scholarship holders’ ASGEE and UCGPA scores significantly predict the master's academic success. It was found that UCGPA scores are better predictors of master's academic success when compared to ASGEE scores although they are equally weighted to determine TUBITAK scholarship holders
