摘要:This article will focus on the issue of Food and Nutrition Security highlighting the role of the Food and Agriculture Organization in the process of articulation with this policy. In order to reach the proposed objective, the bibliographic survey method was used. The paper first presents the historical and political contextualization of Food and Nutrition Security and then brings a succinct approach to International Relations. Finally, to portray the Food and Agriculture Organization and to discuss its relationship with Brazil, highlighting its role in relation to Food and Nutrition Security and its ways of monitoring. From the theoretical framework studied, it is possible to verify the importance of international relations and their organizations, which strengthen the dynamics of public policies, as well as the importance attributed to the institution to control food security in the countries.
