摘要:A rectangular, thin or moderately thick 9 node Lagrangian element is presented, following the Mindlin theory. The covariant components of shear deformation are aproximatted by lower order polinomials than those resulting directly froa the element cinematic equations. As a consecuence, locking and purious modes are avoided. Patch test results for straight an curved side patterns are obtained. Its perfonaance is also evaluated for many typical problems.
