摘要:The stress intensity factor, KI, has been determined for three cases of two-dimensional cracked bodies using the· Finite Element Kethod with hybrid elements incorporating the singular character of the stress field at the crack tip. The results obtained for the three cases treated (i.e. centeredcrack panel, double-edge cracked panel, and three-point bending cracked specimen), compare favourably with results obtained elsewhere, not only considering numerical convergence, but also from the point of view of the modelling and process time savings.
