摘要:This work will showa new methodology which can be followed during the determination of the safety factor of stability against sliding of an earth damduring either its period of cmstruction or at its final stage of realization. (be finite element program is used to calculate- during the construe tim of the layers the state of total stresses and strains at any point inside the earth body. The pore pressure distribution inside the earth damis calculated using the SKEMPTON pore water pressure equation. Finally. these last values are input in a slope stability program which uses the efective shear strength parameters of the layers.
