摘要:This work wants to present the study of the influence of heavy and steady rains on the stability of small earth dams. For that purpose, a finite element program is used to simulate the hidrodinamic conditions which mayoccur inside the earth dambody under the heavy rains effects. These first results are used as input data in a slope stability program. Values of the safety factors against sliding calculated under the heavy rains conditions and without them are compared.
