  • 摘要:Many researchers have invested their time in creating mathematical models that simulate the dynamic behavior of hydrodynamic journal bearings. In most of the cases a linear model for constant dynamic coefficients have been used. Resent comparisons between the theoretically and experimentally obtained coefficients have not shown the expected agreement. This research present the result of a linear adjustment, of the transient response of the journal-bearing system, perform with the minimum square method. A comparison between this results and the results obtained with an linear analytical methods (i.e. Method of the perturbation about the equilibrium position). permit the establishment of a range were the bearing behave linearly.
