摘要:Steel cuting ladles ue used to tunspOrt liquid steel from the furnace or couerler to the continuous casting machine. The operating cycle of casting ladles is multivariable process, whose enluiltion and optimintion depends on many factors. Mathematical modeling and numerical simulation are very heplfull to achieve a better understanding of this process. In this work models for prehating and cooling of casting ladles are used in combination with a metalliurgy and transport model (ladle filled with sleel) 10 generate operilting rules. A 100 tn dolomitic ladles is analysed and the results regarding initial preheating are presented. For a cuting ladle with a stable thermal stale an aditional preheating is calculaled in order to compensate heat losses owing to different cooling periods after teeming.
