摘要:In this paper a theory of thin-walled pretwisted beams made of composite materials is presented. The principal aspects of this theory are based on the appropiate representation of the shear deformations, which are consireded in complete form, I.e. shear due to flexure and shear due to non-uniform warping. The model is developed in order to be able for the analysis of statics and free vibration problems, and it is formulated with the principle of virtual works, but the work of the shear forces is refocused and posed according to the variational principle of Reissner. A finite element solution consistent with the theory is employed in order to do the parametrical analysis.
