摘要:This work shows the resolution of a reinforced concrete silo under the charge of the wheat wich it contains. This resolution consists in the determination of the active forces distribution and the estimation of the silo thickness. The determination of the active forces distribution was made by the Reimbert`s[1] method. The thickness of the silo was first estimated by the Reimbert`s method and then verified with the shells theory following the book written by Belluzzi[2] and with the Finite Element Method[3] using the PC-FEAP program. Finally it was made a comparisson of the results obtained by the different methods.
