摘要:The complex relationship between education and digital technology can be understood if we understand the role of technologies in the network ecosystem we all inhabit. Technologies are not tools or aids external to the human body, but agents of transformation of our mental and bodily structures. The concept of computational fluency helps to overcome the limitations of theories related to computational thinking: coding can be seen as a form of expression and mastery of a language, according to an approach focused on design, critical thinking and creativity. The purpose of coding activities is not to learn basic computer skills and concepts, but to express oneself through creative development environments. Mastering coding helps to develop one's own thinking, to develop one's own expressiveness and to develop one's own identity. Computational fluidity has to do not only with the understanding of computational concepts and problem-solving strategies, but also with the ability to create and know how to express ourselves with digital technologies to actively contribute to society towards full digital citizenship.
