摘要：Phylogenetic relationships among the species of the genus Brachygastra Perty, 1883, are analyzed based on characters of female morphology, male genitalia, and nest architecture. Analysis of the data matrix with equal weights results in one tree, which is also obtained under implied weighting. A new species is described and an identification key is presented. The males of B. borellii and B. scutellaris are described.
