  • 摘要:Nowadays, metrics and data are widely used to make decisions and predications, give targeted recommendation, track personal health as the overwhelming belief of data being objective and trustworthy grows. However, the excessive trust on data also leads to its devaluation as people tend to enumerate almost everything, including body, reputation, relationship and even their own value. Our physical and mental world is changed with the use of data. This article tries to analyse the process of how metrics and data are used in our daily life by individuals, enterprises and social media. Furthermore, we also try to analyse the influencing mechanism of metrics and data on people’s behaviour and their notion of value and worth.
