摘要：Mihri Ýffet Pektaþ 1886 yýlýnda Bursa'da doðmuþtur. Babasý Yusuf Bahaddin Bey, annesi Ýclal Haným'dýr. Ýlköðrenimini Zühtü Paþa Mektebi'nde tamamlamýþtýr. 1908 yýlýnda ise Amerikan Kýz Kolejine kaydolmuþtur. Bu okuldan 1916 yýlýnda mezun olmuþtur. Bilahare meslek hayatý baþlamýþtýr. 1916'dan 1918 yýlýna kadar Amerikan Kýz Kolejinde Türkçe öðretmenliði yapmýþtýr. Çocuklarýnýn bakýmý nedeni ile birkaç yýl öðretmenlik mesleðine ara vermiþtir. 1921 yýlýnda Bezmialem Kýz Lisesi Ýngilizce öðretmeni olarak iþ hayatýna geri dönmüþtür. 1922'de ise Robert Koleji'nde Ýngilizce öðretmeni olmuþtur. Mihri Pektaþ kadýnlara seçme ve seçilme hakký verilmesinden sonraki ilk seçimlerde Malatya'dan aday gösterilmiþ ve milletvekili olmuþtur. 6. ve 7. dönemlerde de Malatya'dan milletvekili seçilmeyi baþarmýþtýr. Milletvekilliði süresince kütüphane ve divaný muhasebat encümenlerinde görev yapmýþtýr. Encümenler adýna hazýrlanan 30 mazbatada imzasý bulunmaktadýr. Pektaþ, 1935'den 1946'ya kadar olan 12 yýllýk milletvekilliði süresince sadece iki konuþma yapmýþtýr. Bunlardan birisi spor, diðeri içki tüketimi konusundadýr. 2 kanun teklifinde ve 1 önergede imzasý vardýr. 1946 yýlýnda milletvekilliði sona eren Pektaþ bu tarihten 1961'e kadar Robert Koleji'nde öðretmenlik yapmýþtýr. 1947-1950 yýllarý arasýnda Birleþmiþ Milletler Kadýn Haklarý Komisyonu'nda Türkiye delegesi olarak yer almýþtýr. 14 Temmuz 1979'da vefat eden Pektaþ Ýstanbul'da Aþiyan mezarlýðýnda metfundur.
其他摘要：Mihri Ýffet Pektaþ was born in Bursa in 1886. Her father was Yusuf Bahaddin Bey and her mother was Ýclal Haným. She completed her primary education at Zühtü Pasha School. She enrolled in American Girls' College. She graduated from this school in 1916. After that she started working. She worked as a Turkish Language Teacher at American Girls' College from 1916 to 1918. Because of the care of her children, she stopped working as a teacher for a while. She returned to her career as an English Language Teacher of Bezmialem Girls' High School in 1921. In 1922, she became an English Language Teacher in Robert College. Mihri Pektaþ was nominated and became a member of parliament in the first elections after the voting rights of turkish women. She succeeded to be elected as the member from Malatya in the 6th and 7th periods. While she was the member of parliament, she worked in the commissions of the library and the court of accounts. She put her signature under the 30 official reports which were prepared on behalf of the commissions. She made a speech only two times during her 12-year membership to the parliament period from 1935 to 1946. One of them was about sport and the other was on alcohol consumption. There was her signature under two legislative proposals and a proposal. In 1946 when her membership of the parliament ended, she worked as a teacher starting from this date until 1961in Robert College. Between the years 1947 and 1950, she had a part as the delegate of Turkey in the United Nations Women's Rights Commission. She passed away on 14 July, 1979 and was buried in Aþiyan Cemetery in Ýstanbul.
