摘要：Biodiesel is an alternative eco-friendly diesel fuel. Currently, the cost of biodiesel is higher than the conventional diesel oil due to the usage of expensive edible oil. Hence, in this paper we reviewed the research work that has been done in the area of non-edible oil to produce cost effective biodiesel. Biodiesel can be made economically viable if non-edible oil of sources that are available locally is considered.
