摘要：With its opening in March 1994, the Annette and Irwin Eskind Biomedical Library at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, launched a new era at the university's medical center. The new building is the culmination of much effort, involving the time and talents of many dedicated individuals. Because of its advanced technological features and its modernistic design, the building might be regarded as a model library for the twenty-first century.
