摘要：This study presents a SWOT analysis of an existing Doctor in Science (DSc) program at XUniversity. An open-endedsurvey was administered to alumni of this program and results were analyzed for existing themes in the data. Thestrengths of the program were identified as the format, structure, and faculty of the program. The weaknesses weremore in line with improved syllabi description and competitive cohort admission criteria. The opportunities wereidentified as collaboration with industry and alumni getting opportunities in teaching. Threats were along the lines ofincreased costs and the title of the program. Implications are presented, and conclusions drawn.
