  • 摘要:Undergraduate information technology courses often require students to complete software projects that are similarto real-world-like projects, but can also be topics that contribute to on-going research projects at the university. Thisstudy looks at the use of three different research-oriented topics from a single faculty research-project that wereintegrated into three different information technology courses. The research attempts to see if the differences betweenthe topics have an effect on student perceived usefulness of these topics as compared to actual real-world projects, ifthese projects stimulated their interest into research, enhanced their undergraduate experience, increased theirprogramming skills, and increased their motivation to attend graduate school.
