摘要:The present work aims to verify if educational actions have any effect in the understanding of the concepts related to the recycling and conservation of the Environment. The project was applied in classes of Elementary School of a State College of Curitiba, through an Environmental Education work focused on the correct alternatives of the destination of the trash and separation of the recyclable materials. The didactic mediation was done through a pre-test to detect previous knowledge, a lecture, an informative booklet, the assembly of a game about recycling and a post-test to verify the possible change of the concepts. After applying the mediations, an improvement in the understanding of the concepts is noticeable, especially with the lecture and the booklet given to the students. The game, although it helps to arouse interest and a playful activity, did not have the expected effect, since it showed that there is still a great confusion between the concepts of recycling and reuse.
