摘要:In the qualitative research project "Small children`s everyday life in kindergarten – participation, belonging and dignity" we have studied aspects of everyday life in a variety of kindergartens with different organizational models, using a micro-ethnic approach. We have highlighted the connection between organizational structures in kindergarten and small children's possibilities for participation, well-being and quality of everyday life. Results from this study reveals that everyday life especially in large flexible kindergartens is characterized by challenging everyday logistics. Adjustment, ability and willingness to flexibility are required for the days to function as «friction-free» as possible. In this article we ask whether young children are given opportunities for sense of belonging and participation in kindergartens where everyday lives are largely characterized by tight organizational frameworks and multiple relocations. The material from kindergartens is discussed in light of perspectives on well-being and actual relevant kindergarten research. Keywords: Kindergarten, everyday life, logistics, belonging
