摘要：Content analysis was used, which is one of the qualitative research methods. The study was conducted with 220 professional and amateur badminton players. When collecting data, the players are asked to fill in the form "Badminton, Badminton-player, Ball, Racket is like.....Because,....../Badminton as a colour-music.......Because,......." expressions.The obtained metaphors were entered into the SPSS23 program and frequency-percentage analyzes were made. Then, metaphors are divided into categories. Regarding badminton, tennis, war and life, for badminton-players warriors and soldiers, for badminton-balls birds and bullets, for badminton-racket sword and arm metaphors emerged. Besides, badminton as a colour is most associated with blue, white and red, while it is associated with pop, rap and rock as a musical genre.
