摘要:The aim of this study is to examine the value levels of secondary school students towards physical education and sports lesson according to various variables. The study group of this research, which is descriptive in the screening model constitutes 373 students who study in the Secondary school located in the Batman province center during the academic year of 2017-2018 spring term. The data of the study were collected with "Physical Education and Sport Classroom Value Scale".It was observed that secondary school students showed the highest value level of “awareness” (4,54±0,56) and the lowest value level of “national culture and cooperation” (3,77±1,06) regarding Physical Education and sports. Other sub-dimensions are "Respect" (4,45 ± 0,56), "Solidarity" (4,29 ± 0,61), "Healthy Living and Nutrition" (4,25 ± 0,71), respectively; and determine the value levels of students. In this study, it was concluded that secondary school students frequently and always display the values related to physical education and sports lessons and they are aware of these values.
