摘要:For the past decade, Mobile Ad hoc network (MANET) is gaining popularity and is now on the way of becoming emerging technology of the global world. Nowadays, MANET is accounted for the applications in time sensitive multimedia which is the most desired and needed area of research. Present study is a comparative study that uses the voice traffic to analyze and measure both reactive and proactive protocols. OMNET++ 4.2, AODV (Ad-hoc On-Demand Distance Vector developed at Uppsala University) and OLSRETX (Optimized Link State Routing Extended Transmission) are used as simulator, proactive routine protocol and reactive routing protocol (by using the only mobility model known as Gauss Markov model of mobility) respectively. By setting the parameters of Delay, Throughput and Packet Delay Variation, the performance has been minutely established as a result having different nodes number and iteration.
