摘要:We estimate willingness-to-pay (WTP) for building refueling stations for battery-switching electric vehicles (SEVs) and battery-recharging electric vehicles (REVs) by using a choice experiment. Our results show that consumers prefer a REV to a SEV even if the recharging rate of the REV is 30 minutes when assuming that the levels of the other properties, such as cruising range and number of refueling stations, are equal. Furthermore, the results imply that to promote the use of electric vehicles, it is important to build the infrastructure as well as introduce in parallel a price policy such as subsidies and tax cuts.
