摘要：Investment in the economy determines the effectiveness of economic security. Currently, insufficient attention is paid to assessing the impact of investment processes on the formation of economic security in the region. The results of the study show that the uneven investment processes in different regions of the Volga Federal district may indicate a different level of economic security of individual regions. The authors of the study propose to improve the state investment policy of regional governments in the direction of increasing the contribution of investment processes to the economic security of the region.
