摘要:The reality of the right to work of popular artists challenges the traditional frameworks of labor law. Based on life stories as a source of knowledge, we review the work itineraries of two hip-hop popular artists. We present the complexity of their careers and the different relationships they build in different social circles. In these spaces, we find different forms of accumulation of capital and knowledge and the development of collective strategies for the reproduction of life that respond to social protection necessities. In the light of these women experiences, the article discusses the precarious working conditions offered to artists through entrepreneurial initiatives promoted by the State and international cooperation. Finally, we propose to expand labor law frameworks departing from an understanding of work that prioritizes the processes of life reproduction through material support, subjective realization, and participation possibilities in collective initiatives for social transformation.
