其他摘要:The research entitled “Facilities Management in Regional Secondary Airport in Thailand” aims 1) to evaluate the efficiency of facility management in secondary airports in the regions of Thailand and 2) to provide suggustions on the possible development of facility management in secondary airports in the regions of Thailand. Results reveals that 1)the overall satisfaction towards the facility management in secondary airports is moderate. 2) improvements for the facility management in secondary airports in Thailand include (1) a need for additional facilities for outbound and inbound passengers (seats for the waiting families), check-in counters, physical examination and luggage points, WiFi hotspots, charging points, automatic check-in counters, jet bridges, parking area for personal vehicals, currency exchange booths and automated teller machines (ATM). (2) the security and cleanliness of restrooms, staff service, taxi service and restaurants should be improved. Satisfaction in various aspects are correlated to the overall efficiency of facility management in secondary airports, ranked as follows, luggage pickup point, physical examination and luggage point, check-in counters, security services, shop stalls, travel information and hotel reservation services, information on flight schedules, public telephone service, waiting point, car rental services, signs located indoors, baggage carts, public transportation waiting points, public relations, signs located outdoors, parking area and restaurants. The findings can be applied to the development of facilities within the airport as well as providing more efficient and effective facility management.
