摘要:To study the damage and failure mechanism of a canbon fiber-reinforced bismaleimides-matrix composite laminate subjected to transverse tensile, tensile experiments with acoustic emission technology on [90]16 laminates are implemented, while the analysis on signal parameters is conducted. Meanwhile, 2D microscopic RVE is modeled to simulate the plastic deformation on matrix and failure on interface by using ABAQUS. The study shows that it is mainly matrix that bears the load under the tensile subjected to [90]16 laminate. During the load, elastic deformation and plastic deformation occur in the material. And then the interface between fiber and matrix debond and failure. The results of experiment and stimulation agree well. It will uncover the process of damage's initiation to evolution and extension in laminates.
