摘要:The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the use of mathematical physics textbook-based inquiry on Mathematical Physics to improving mathematical problem solving ability of students. The study design using pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this research are physics students who take courses in Mathematical Physics I. Based on the results of data analysis can be known (1) an increase in mathematical problem solving ability of students on average were moderate, 2) Independence of student learning after using inquiry-based textbook is good (3) the response of students to the textbook is fair. So it can be concluded that the use textbooks effective inquiry-based Mathematical Physics Mathematical Physics in lectures.
