  • 摘要:The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between social appearance anxiety and attitudes towatds physical education lesson and trait anxiety levels of BILSEM and secondary school students. The study group consisted of 74 students (36 girls (%48.6) and 38 boys (%51.4)) that educated in BILSEM (Mage= 11.54, SD=.96) and different secondary schools (Mage= 12.17, SD=1.23). “Social Appearance Anxiety Scale-Adolescent”, “Physical Education Trait Anxiety Scale“ and “Elementary Physical Education Attitude Scale” were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of data percentage, frequency, arithmetic mean and correlation analysis were used. As a result of the study, it was determined that BILSEM students’ attitudes towards physical education lesson were high, trait anxiety levels and social appearance concerns were low. In secondary school students, it was found that the attitudes towards the course were very high, trait anxiety levels and social appearance anxiety were at a moderate level. In addition, as the social appearance anxiety of the students studying in BILSEM increased, the level of trait anxiety towards the lesson increased.
