摘要：In this article we propose to problematize the urban tours developed in the city of Recife, Pernambuco, as a result of the field research undertaken in october 2018. Based on narrate and practice as tools of street ethnography, we promote a discussion about the narrative and symbolic potential of the city Recife, object-city of several cultural and academic products. In this context, we believe that narrate and practice can serve as manufacturing processes of the urban imagination, activities eminently linked to the methods of observation, analysis and interpretation of social reality.
