摘要：The main objective of this paper is the identification of problems in the primary link of the apicultural productive chain of Colombia and its possible inclusion in the formulation of sectoral public policies. Methodologically, the objective was developed from a bibliographic review and participatory diagnostic workshops in six organizations of apicultural producers. Despite the existence of a documentary collection in the Colombian apicultural sector, it is not possible to define exactly from it, the presence of social or political problems that can be taken into account in the formulation of a public policy. Of all problems reported in the participatory diagnosis, five could be classified as social problems in an eventual process of formulating an apicultural policy, as long as the formal institutional framework of the sector initiates it.
