Als hybrides Medium in zunehmend medial vermittelten und visuell kommunizierenden Informations - und Wissensgesellschaften bietet die Webseite medienintegrative Ansätze für die handlungsorientierte Beschäftigung mit Richters Bilderkosmos im Allgemeinen, und das fremdsprachliche und landeskundliche Lernen an seiner Biografie im Besonderen. “ With a career spanning nearly six decades, Gerhard Richter is widely considered one of the greatest artists of our time. This contribution examines the resources and possibilities offered by this multilingual website for working in media - based teaching and learning approaches in language education. As a hybrid medium set within an increasingly mediated and visual communication - based information and knowledge society, the website offers media - integrative approaches to an action - oriented study of Richter’s pictorial cosmos in general, and foreign language and cultural learni ng with his biography in particular.
