  • 摘要:In this work, binary dopant barium hexaferrite with nominal composition of BaFe12-2xMgxAlxO19 (x = 0 and 0.1 mol%) have been prepared by co-precipitation method and calcination temperature of 1100 °C. Various characterization such as, x-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscope (FESEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and vector network analyzer (VNA) has been done. The XRD evaluations confirmed the successful substitution of Mg and Al cations in the barium hexaferrite lattice. The VSM analysis proved that by increasing Mg and Al substitutions, the saturation magnetization and remanence increased, while coercivity decreased. The optimum conditions properties obtained for x = 0.1 mol% with saturation magnetization of 28.34 emu g−1, remanence of 15.23 emu g−1 and coercivity of 1144 Oe. In addition, the maximum reflection loss of −53.23 dB was obtained at the frequency of 10.83 GHz. The changes in the magnetic and microwave absorption properties by adding the multi dopant were also investigated.
