  • 摘要:In this paper we propose a new algorithm to model the spread of infectious diseases in the population. Through a combination of the Susceptible-Infected-Recovered (SIR) epidemiology model and Small World social network. The model helps to understand the dynamics of infectious diseases in a population, and to identify the main characteristics of epidemic transmission and its evolution over time. Simulations were conducted to evaluate the proposed model. The obtained results were analyzed in order to explore how the evolution of the network influences the spread of the disease also statistical test was applied to validate our model. This model allows health policy makers to better understand the epidemic spread and to implement relevant control strategies.
