摘要：A face recognition method was proposed based onthe improved Gabor wavelet transform algorithm. Firstly, theoptimized SSR algorithm was used to carry out thepreprocessing on face images. Then the Gabor wavelettransform and the discrete cosine transform (DCT) arecombined to form the improved Gabor wavelet transform,which is used to realize the image feature extraction anddimension reduction. Finally, the nearest neighbor distancedetector and Euclidean distance are used as the classifier torealize the recognition and classification of face images, whichcan effectively shorten the recognition time and maintain aconsiderable recognition rate.
