摘要:The purpose of this paper is to define the terms “theater” and “theatrical game” and to determine the field oftheir practical application of Greek traditional dance in the school education. To help students to acquire thenecessary knowledge in order to reconsider behaviors and attitudes on the subject of Greek traditional danceand to perceive, comprehend and realize the value of dancing with a more pleasant mood. With respect todata presented, we established that the use of theatrical game was an excellent methodological tool not onlyfor the design and evaluation of the programme but also in helping students to develop cultural awarenessand understanding elements of tradition, history and traditional music, singing and dancing.
