摘要：This monographic issue of Topologik is the first of a set of two volumes dedicated to Karl-Otto Apel, one of the most important Maestros of twenty-first century philosophical thought.The issue is divided into two sections: the Life section and the Thought section.The first section (Life) is composed of contributions that are testimony to conversations, discussionsand reflections with Karl-Otto Apel. The theoretical-philosophical aspect and the personalaspect give back the freshness and the profundity of the recounts and of the testimonieshere present around the Thought and the Life of Karl-Otto Apel. Those who have known, andbecome friends with Apel, have lived the philosophical logos in its reflective breadth in symbiosiswith a man who, in Habermas' opinion, incorporates the same philosophy. They lived thediscursive force of a personality who made dialogue the tireless source of intersubjective research.Life and Thought are not two separate and separable sections, they are rather the evidencethat the true philosophizing is constituted in the unity, precisely, of Life and Thought: inlive the philosophy.
