摘要:This research aimed to investigate the spiritual and social attitudes of students withdifferent academic abilities towards four educational models: problem based learning(PBL); numbered heads together (NHT); integrated PBL and NHT; and multi-strategiesmodel. This quasi-experimental investigation employed a pretest-posttest non-equivalentcontrol group with the design of a 4 x 2 factorial pattern. The research subjects weretenth grade students from four public senior high schools (SMAN) in Jeneponto, namelySMAN 1 Binamu; SMAN 2 Binamu; SMAN 1 Batang; and SMAN 1 Tamalatea. Data onthe students' spiritual and social attitudes was taken by using observations, selfassessmentand peer assessment sheets before and after the learning. The data wasanalysed with descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. The results of the researchindicated some differences in the spiritual and social attitudes of students with differentacademic abilities towards different learning models. The integrated PBL and NHTlearning model was considered as the best combination to improve the spiritual andsocial attitudes of students with upper academic ability.
