摘要:In this work we are interested in the degradation of an azo dye RY17 by heterogeneous photocatalysis. We have studied in the first place, the adsorption of this dye on TiO2-coated non-woven fibres, in order to determine the optimal conditions for the degradation of the dye, the results show that the adsorption equilibrium is reached after 30 min of adsorption and that the Langmuir describes better the adsorption by report to the Freundlich isotherm. Then, we have discussed the influence of some experimental parameters such as the initial dye concentrations, the initial pH of aqueous solution and the addition of H2O2 on the degradation of the solution studied.
