摘要：La investigación trató de definir las ventajas y desventajas de aplicar un sistema de mejora continua a un proceso de construcción, con la finalidad de detectar el manejo de los tiempos y poder así detectar en que aspectos puntuales puede ser integrado los conceptos destinados a permitir mayor eficiencia en la obra. Por medio de Lean Construction se definió un seguimiento puntual de las actividades desarrolladas por la empresa, las subcontratadas no se integraron al estudio. Esto permitió realizar mediciones completas, minuto a minuto de la duración de cada actividad. Los análisis sobre las actividades determinadas permitieron clasificar el desempeño de estas, con respecto a un ideal. Los consumos de tiempos productivos, contributivos y no contributivos medidos ofrecieron un parámetro del desarrollo de las tareas, en tal sentido permiten tomar acciones puntuales para incrementar el tiempo productivo.
